POPIA & your data rights

Plant X is committed to protecting your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This page sets out your rights and how to exercise them.

Your rights

As a data subject under POPIA, you have the right to:

  • Be told what personal information we hold about you and to receive a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct or update information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep.
  • Object to processing in certain circumstances, including direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave (this won't affect processing already carried out).
  • Complain to us and to the Information Regulator.
